Hey! I’m Travis. I run Millennial Moola to help 20 and 30 somethings figure out money. I’m also the founder of Student Loan Planner, where I provide flat fee consultations to help people save thousands on their student debt. If you’d like to learn more about that, hit me up.
I used to be a bond trader for a large investment company before I decided to pursue extreme early retirement at age 25 in June 2015. Rather than help the rich get richer, I wanted to help everybody to grow their wealth through financial education. That’s how Millennial Moola was born. 25 IS THE NEW 65, my first book, details my journey. You can get it for $0.99 on Amazon.
Hi there! Nice to find your blog! It’s pretty incredible what you’ve achieved, and I’m excited to learn more about your journey to FI and what you’re doing with your free time now. (BTW — Your comments on our blog were oddly going to spam, but I’ve fixed that. Thanks for chiming in!)
Weird, hope that’s not happening with other blogs too! Thanks for stopping by. I’m not FI by the technical 4% of portfolio covering your spending definition, but I’m about 60% there, and I use my hobbies as a way to generate side income to supplement the difference. Kind of a different take on financial independence, but I’ve survived for a year so far!
Hey, Travis. Just now making my way over here. I’m super happy to have found your site. I really enjoyed the guest post you did on advanced degrees over at Millennial Money. I look forward to reading more. – Cody
